How is Kinach Chiropractic Different From Other Chiropractic Clinics?

Our clinic is designed to work with athletes and active adults seeking pain relief from acute or chronic lower back pain. At Kinach Chiropractic, Dr. Andrew Kinach is a local expert who focuses on a patient-centred approach to your healthcare, restoring the standard of high-quality chiropractic care.

We take the time to make you feel heard, work together to achieve your health and wellness goals, and use a treatment strategy called Active Release Technique (ART) that provides a value of care unmatched anywhere else in the Excelsior area!

The Patient Experience: What to Expect

Our process is designed to give you a deep understanding of your pain and a clear path to relief.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Online Intake — Complete a brief intake before your visit.

  2. Functional Movement Screening — Understand how your body moves and identify limitations.

  3. Hands-On Adjustments & Muscle Work — Target specific areas for immediate relief.

  4. Corrective Exercises — Simple, effective exercises to improve strength and mobility at home.

Our patients often see results immediately, with a greater range of motion and noticeable pain relief by the end of the first session. You’ll also receive customized exercises to stay on track between visits.

What Causes Low Back Pain?

Low back pain is the leading cause for someone to come see a chiropractor. In fact, 80% of adult Americans will have low back pain in their lifetime, most commonly seen between ages 50-55 years old. Of people who suffer from low back pain, 95% of them will recover fully from it and chiropractic care will help speed up the recovery period! That means less time in pain and more time doing what you love.

There are multiple ways that low back pain can begin, but the most common reason is repetitive lifting and twisting motions on a daily basis. This is often due to a lack of abdominal core control. It is important to figure out why low back pain is present before a course of treatment is started. Dr. Andrew is able to understand the differences and plans treatment accordingly to get the results you want as fast as possible! Our approach not only gets you out of pain but teaches you how to prevent it from happening again in the future.

How Can Chiropractic Care Help Low Back Pain?

Chiropractic care can help with low back pain by addressing the issue causing the pain. Whether it is a stability or mobility problem, muscular weakness, or a lumbar disc injury, Dr. Andrew Kinach has the tools to diagnose what is going on and provide a treatment plan that will help with your pain. We have the knowledge and techniques to help with your lower back pain whatever the cause may be!

How We Treat Our Patients

Adjustments

We focus our adjustment techniques on manual and instrument-assisted adjusting using an activator tool in order to keep our patients comfortable in the clinic. Adjusting the spine and extremity joints improves the body's range of motion, restoring movement back to its full potential!

Muscle Therapy

Muscle therapy is a pin and stretch technique that follows the methods of ART. We use muscle therapy to help decrease tension or trigger points in the muscles associated with your pain by pressing on the tender areas and moving your joints through their range of motion. These techniques can be done by hand or with other tools, in order to provide relief from muscular aches and pains.

Corrective Exercise Rehab

As we begin to increase the body's range of motion and decrease the muscle tension, it is time to re-train how those muscles work. We use corrective exercise rehab to complete this by focusing on the mind-body connection. By doing specific exercises tailored to your condition, we can achieve quality movement before adding any weights or increasing intensity.

“Dr. Kinach is absolutely amazing. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, but he also goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. We have been working together for the entire summer, and his treatments have made a world of difference for me, especially after suffering a sprained ankle. What would have been a 3-4 week recovery, Dr. Kinach helped improve my recovery time to about 2 weeks. Plus, he's always got a smile on his face and makes every visit a positive experience. HIGHLY recommend!!! Thank you for everything Dr. Kinach!!"

"Dr. Kinach is the best! I love that he is focused on prevention and getting people healthier. This is the first time I’ve been to a chiropractor who gave me workouts, did muscle work, and then an adjustment. I have been seeing him for persistent foot and back pain and saw drastic improvements after the first visit! Would recommend to anyone looking for a new chiropractor!"

"Dr. Andrew is an amazing chiro. He's a good listener and works with me in achieving my treatment goals. Also very accommodating in terms of appointment scheduling.
I initially saw him a few months ago for bulging discs and sciatica. At that time I can barely walk due to pain, been prescribed different painkillers to no avail. After just one visit to Dr Andrew's clinic, I immediately felt some relief.I am not 100% well yet, but I am way better than I used to be. Thank you so much!!!"
